Book ConsultationTherapeutic Neuromodulator Treatments
Medical Tox refers to therapeutic neuromodulator treatments designed to temporarily relax targeted muscles or reduce overactive sweat gland activity. Common neuromodulators: Botox®, Xeomin®, Letybo®.
At SuA Glow, Medical Tox supports concerns involving TMJ/jaw clenching, teeth grinding, chronic muscle tension, migraine-related tension patterns, and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
All Medical Tox treatments at SuA Glow are performed by Sophia Yang, PA-C under appropriate medical oversight and delegation by supervising physician Dr. Adam Yang in accordance with Texas law and established clinical protocols.
Jaw Clenching & Teeth Grinding
One of the most commonly requested Medical Tox treatments. Neuromodulators may help relax overactive jaw muscles associated with jaw clenching, teeth grinding, jaw tension, and facial tightness.
Many patients seek treatment because they wake up with jaw soreness, grind teeth at night, experience chronic facial tension, or notice jaw muscle enlargement over time.
Tension-Focused Muscle Relaxation
Medical Tox may be used as part of a broader management approach for chronic migraine or tension-related headache patterns.
Targeted areas may include: forehead, temples, scalp, neck, and upper shoulders.
Medical Tox may help reduce excessive sweating by temporarily decreasing overactive sweat gland signaling.
Targets excessive underarm sweating. The most commonly requested hyperhidrosis treatment.
Targets excessive hand sweating. Common among professionals, public speakers, healthcare workers, and performers.
Targets excessive foot sweating. Often requested for shoe discomfort and moisture-related irritation.

Gradual improvement over days to two weeks. Maintenance may be recommended.
Both use neuromodulators, but Medical Tox focuses on functional concerns such as muscle tension, sweating, jaw clenching, and headache-related tension patterns.
Some patients may notice softening of enlarged jaw muscles over time as muscle activity decreases.
The goal is typically reduction — not complete elimination — of excessive sweating in targeted areas.
Neuromodulators may help relax overactive jaw muscles associated with clenching and grinding in select patients.
Most patients tolerate treatment well. Depending on the area, topical numbing may be used for comfort.
Many patients notice early improvement within several days, with fuller results over approximately 1–2 weeks.
Medical Tox may help reduce excessive sweating in areas such as the underarms, hands, and feet by temporarily decreasing overactive sweat gland signaling.
